'Ghost' snapped in Scottish man's window after years of 'creepy activity' in the house

A Scottish dad has shared a picture taken by his daughter - who is also his neighbour - which appears to show a ghost hovering in his upstairs window while he and his wife were at work.

Posting on the Facebook group Ghost Hunters Scotland, Craig Mccomb wrote:

"Got an image that was taken my daughter who lives across the road from me. Both myself & wife were at work & no one was in the house. I’ve ruled out a jacket hanging over the door as nearest door is about 4m from the window & no jackets ever get hung over there as it’s the bathroom door.

"In front of the window is the kitchen sink but looks like this is almost against the window."

He said that whatever the figure was, it was seen twice, three hours apart. In between those times it wasn't actually present, his daughter claimed.

Mr Mccomb went on to explain that the photo isn't the only strange thing that's been happening in the property, believed to be in Ayrshire. He says his dog has been scared at times, looking at things that aren't actually there. Also, Alexa seems to pick up phantom voices, saying "I don't understand."

He explained: "My spaniel has on occasion been cowering, looking up at to corner of the living room ceiling & backing away as if scared to look at that area. Quite a lot of other things have happened in the house as well.

"Alexa turns on/off and says often I don’t understand, or playing a music title that we haven't even asked for, I can go into Alexa app and check what’s been asked, usually it’s just a mixture of letters that it’s been asked. Possibly a glitch for that one."

Several people replied to say it just looked like a jacket. But Mr Mccomb replied: "that’s what we thought but when we went home, there was no jacket hanging on the nearest door. Dog may have pulled it down off the door but then the jacket would be on floor and there wasn't."

Mr Mccomb also elaborated on the 'creepy stuff' that had been going on in the house 'for years', saying: "Stuff been happening in the house for years if I’m honest. In bed we can heard like kids running up and down the stairs, toys moved around etc, you always seem to catch something out the corner of your eye, then the dog cowering and looking at the corner of the ceiling etc.

"Once a ball came from the bedroom into the living room around two corners, along the hall and landed at friend's feet (only us in house, no dog at the time). He quickly left."
