'Ghost' picture shows mystery girl staring at kids playing in 'haunted' woods

A freaked out mum claims to have photographed ghostly figures eerily watching her children play in a 'haunted' wood.

Ann-Marie English, 34, has revealed the snaps taken of her four kids and her nephew around 3pm on Saturday at the Screaming Woods in Kent.

Also known as Dering Woods - the county's ' most haunted ' place - the mum, from Cheriton in Hampshire, took the youngsters there to see if the spooky stories were true.

And when sifting through the pictures once home, Ann-Marie made a sinister discovery, according to Kent Live .

She thinks she can see a 'mystery girl' peering out from the trees.

She said: "It was such a nice wooded area. It is beautiful. It wasn't until we got home and I was looking through the photos when I noticed the man standing watching behind the tree.

"I was like 'oh that's a bit weird' and then my cousin noticed the little girl in the tree.

"That's just a little girl looking at the kids playing. She probably died there at some point.

"My older children were more freaked out by it.

"We didn't see anything when we were there and if it was anything sinister, it would have showed itself while we were there.

"I believe in ghosts and I think we scare ourselves into believing in them.

"I've never seen any actual ghosts before but I don't think I'll be going looking for them as I don't want to scare myself. On the internet, I have never seen a picture as clear as that."
