Ghost at Glasgow's Necropolis - professional ghost hunters believe they captured apparition on camera

A pair of ghost hunters have claimed to have caught the ghost of a child on camera at Glasgow's Necropolis.

Lee and Linzi from Ghosts of Britain were visiting the spooky cemetery searching for vampires when they caught the apparition on video.

Ghosts of Britain live-streamed their visit to their 520,000 online followers, who pointed out the ghostly figure.

A screenshot of the footage shows the child-like figure lurking beside one of the graves with followers convinced it could be someone buried nearby.

Lee told Glasgow Live: "We were passing through Glasgow heading to Skye for a case and, as we were aware of the Necropolis having a supernatural encounter, we decided to go and look at the graveyard.

"We walked up to the top of the hill and started a live stream on Facebook. Thousands of people tuned into watch us hunt for this vampire.

"We weren't expecting to see anything but some fans were saying in the comments that we had caught an apparition. We were shocked to see the image screen shot from our live clear as day it looks like a child.

"We then decided to try and ask questions to get some answers with a spirit box device and we quickly got some words coming through. We asked 'can you tell us something about this graveyard' and the voice came through saying 'crime and punishment', it then said 'I'm here'. We then said 'are you scared?' it then said 'scared'.

"All of our fans and followers were asking us to go back in the night. The place is truly mystical and I believe it has a lot more left in store to tell."
