A 'ghost' has been spotted on camera haunting an abandoned Victorian train platform underneath Glasgow Central Station.
The spooky spectre appears in a selfie taken by guide Paul Lyons, who runs the hugely popular behind-the-scenes tours at the station.
He shared the pic on his Twitter account, along with the caption: "The very odd photo from a tour last year, I cannot explain it".
The ghostly figure appears to be bald-headed, wearing a dark jacket and clutching what looks like a blue bag and is leaning against the wall of the abandoned platform near to a group taking the tour.
Speaking to Glasgow Live about the photo, Paul said: "It was the weirdest thing. I accounted for everyone on the tour and I never exceed the required numbers. For health and safety purposes, everyone must wear hi-vis jackets and hard hats and he had neither."
The platform, which remains out of sight for the public using the station, closed over 55 years ago, and dates from the opening of the station’s low-level section back in 1896.
It's not the only 'ghost' to have appeared in the station, with the Grand Central Hotel reported to be one of the most haunted places in Scotland.
That's us no sleepin' the night!
