Paedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged pimp Ghislaine Maxwell is reportedly getting kid-glove treatment while banged up.
The wealthy socialite, accused of trafficking children for sex, is said to be the first prisoner in New York to get a personal visit from her lawyer during the Corona ban.
Others at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn have had to wait more than six months due to Covid.
Manhattan attorney Sean Hecker said of Friday’s alleged visit: “It is outrageous the first in-person visit would be granted to a well-heeled British socialite.
"Detainees have been waiting up to six months for such visits.”
He said the US government operates two different systems of justice “one for the well-heeled and well-connected, and one for everyone else.”
Maxwell, 58, has been at the Center since last month after denying the sex trafficking charges and being denied bail.
Former lover Epstein, chums with Prince Andrew, was found dead in his cell last year. The Royal strongly denies any involvement in any Epstein crimes.
Fellow inmates claimed they had to scrub floors to ensure they were fit for Maxwell’s arrival. Maxwell claims she is being isolated and monitored by psychologists posing as jail guards.
Her legal team said she gets fewer phone minutes than other inmates, does not have a desk and has been banned from the jail shop.
The Bureau of Prisons refused to confirm whether Maxwell was the first inmate to receive an in-person visit but said coronavirus protocols remain in place.
