Africa Cup of Nations pre-tournament contenders Ghana are out to save their place in the competition with a victory over Comoros on Tuesday.
Only two nations have won the trophy more often than the Black Stars, who dropped points in both of their opening matches.
After a defeat to Morocco, Ghana drew 1-1 with Gabon to leave them third in Group C. Their two rivals have made short work of Comoros in their encounters with the minnows - their tally stands at zero points and zero goals going into the match.
“We will fight until the last moment in every match, for us, it is important that we still have a chance to qualify and we are all aware of that,” said Ghana boss Milovan Rajevac.
“We will do our best, we will motivate the players, we are all aware how important this is and we don’t want to go home. We want to stay in the competition and we will do everything in our power to make it happen.”

Ghana vs Comoros is scheduled for a 7pm GMT kick-off on Tuesday, January 17, 2022.
Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua will host the match.
