Do you have a story to tell? Is there something happening in your community we should know about? Or do you have a blog we should be linking to? Pictures we should be sharing?
We're interested in stories or information which directly relate to Edinburgh residents. If you have news, details of an upcoming event or issue which you feel needs investigating, there's four ways to get in touch;
1. Submit brief details by email to edinburgh.local@guardian.co.uk. Your mail will be read and considered for further coverage.
2. Guest blogging. If there's a subject you're passionate about and you want to share that expertise, get in touch about submitting your view via the same email address.
3. Submit details to our link blog. Every morning we produce a round up of links to coverage of news, views and events going on across the city under the heading "Edinburgh today". Feel free to add your own info and links via the comments at the bottom of the page.
4. Photographers are very welcome to share pictures from the city at our dedicated Flickr group.
5. Post the item on our community noticeboard. On the right of the front page of this blog is a dedicated spot available for people to post items for a small fee. It's an easy to use self-serve system and means your notice remains on view for as long as you need it to. The instructions are here.
