Getting chilly? Adidas’ new COLD.RDY line keeps golfers warm but not restricted

As temperatures begin to drop this season, most hope their scores on the course continue to as well.

It is a difficult task to find golf apparel that not only keeps you warm, but allows you to swing freely throughout the entirety of your golf swing. Adidas Golf has just released a new line called COLD.RDY. Adidas’ main goal with this collection was to provide the warmth that golfers need while allowing them to stay loose throughout their round.

This collection does exactly that. The pieces are designed for layering and offer lightweight warmth. While keeping in the warmth, COLD.RDY designs have a protective layer of a water-repellent fabric that aids in keeping wind and water out during your round. The fabric is breathable and comfortable. The collection’s innovative yarns allow sweat to be absorbed and evaporated instantly keeping you dry from all conditions.

“How a player feels over a shot – that confidence and focus – shouldn’t change if it’s a hot summer day or there’s a sudden wind chill,” said Shaun Madigan, global director of apparel for adidas Golf.

The collection primarily focuses on jackets and vests for both men and women, but the COLD.RDY also has some more unique pieces. For women, the line features leggings made with flattering body-contoured seams. For men, Adidas has designed a hoodie with a jersey-lined hood with a drawcord along with a slight drop tail hem for a sleek and modern finish. All COLD.RDY products have UV 50+ sun protection for those sneaky, sunny days.

The new COLD.RDY apparel is available on adidas.com, the adidas app, and at select retailers as of October 16.
