Getafe vs Real Madrid LIVE
LaLiga 2018-19
Venue: Coliseum Alfonso Pérez
Date: Thursday, April 25, 2019
Kick-off: 8:30pm GMT, tonight

Getafe are targeting a major scalp to boost their hopes of a top-four finish this season when they host Real Madrid on Thursday.

Los Blancos are meandering to the end of a rather grim, trophy-less season, sat 16 points adrift of champions-elect Barcelona and seven off neighbours Atletico Madrid.

Three clubs from Madrid could occupy the Champions League spots by the end of the campaign with Getafe currently sat fourth.

José Bordalás’s side have won eight of their last 10 home matches – form that suggests they could inflict more misery on Zinedine Zidane’s beleaguered side.

Real Madrid team news and predicted line-up

Getafe XI: David Soria, Damian, Bruno, Miquel, Cabrera, Hugo Duro, Arambarri, Maksimovic, Olivera, Molina, Mata

Subs: Chichizola, Portillo, Angel, Gaku, Samu Saiz, Cristoforo, Flamini

Real Madrid XI: Navas, Carvajal, Varane, Nacho, Reguilon, Casemiro, Valverde, Isco, Brahim, Bale, Benzema

Subs: Courtois, Vallejo, Kroos, Modric, Marcelo, Vazquez, Asensio

Score prediction: Getafe 1-1 Real Madrid

Getafe are only a few games away from securing their best-ever top-flight finish and joining their more affluent neighbours in the Champions League next season.

Real have won just once on the road since Zidane's return to the capital - and with Getafe showing no signs of nerves with five games of the season remaining, you would fancy the hosts to get something.
