The Cleveland Browns have made Jedrick Wills Jr. the newest member of their team. The 20-year-old Alabama right tackle has a lot to offer. Wills is from Lexington, Kentucky and went to Lafayette High School. He became a highly touted recruit after being named first-team All-Kentucky both as a junior and senior.
Wills was eventually the highest-ranked recruit from the state and was nominated to play in the Under Armour High School All-American game. Believe it or not, Wills’ top schools before committing to the Crimson Tide were the Kentucky Wildcats, Michigan Wolverines, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Tennessee Volunteers.
Even at a talent-rich program like Alabama, Wills still managed to see action in 11 games as a true freshman and started against Ole Miss when the Tide opened in a jumbo formation. He was named the starting right tackle before his sophomore season when the previous starter went down with an injury. He lived up to his high recruiting ranking immediately as he was named SEC Offensive Lineman of the week in Week 7.
Will had one of the more dominating performances in school history as a junior as he was named All-American before declaring early for the NFL Draft.
