Get to know Dolphins rookie running back Myles Gaskin

The Miami Dolphins continue to peel back the curtain on their 2019 NFL Draft class, giving fans a chance to know the people under the pads. The team first highlighted third-round selection Michael Deiter.

The latest addition to the series is Miami’s final pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, Washington running back Myles Gaskin. Gaskin is one of the most productive running backs in the history of college football. His 5,323 career rushing yards are 13th all-time in NCAA history and his 62 career touchdowns are 16th all-time.

But did you know he’s a good bowler? It’s always a fun reminder that these players — who perform superhuman feats on the gridiron each fall — are mostly regular guys who have any number of random interests, skills and passions.

It’s part of the beauty of football that so many different men from different backgrounds can band together for a singular common goal — winning on the football field.

Gaskin will have his chance to help the Dolphins, expect him to make the 53-man roster and be a solid depth piece in the backfield — while also challenging for some kick return duties.
