David Luiz to Arsenal is a shock transfer rumour which has got Chelsea supporters talking.
It's no secret that the Gunners are in the market for a new centre-back after selling Laurent Koscielny to Bordeaux, but they're running out of time to conclude a deal amid links to Daniele Rugani and Dayot Upamecano.
And reports coming out of France suggests they are set to raid London rivals Chelsea.
According to L’Equipe, the north London outfit have submitted an offer for Luiz.
The Brazilian is reportedly determined to make the move to the Emirates Stadium, and has pulled out of training with the Blues to try and force through a move before Thursday's deadline.
This rumour comes as somewhat of a surprise given Luiz only signed a new two-year deal at Stamford Bridge as recently as May and seemed delighted at doing so.
"I am so happy to be here and to have this opportunity to stay," he told Chelseafc.com in May.
"I love this club and I still have the ambition of a young player.
"It means a lot to reach another European final, and we still have the opportunity to finish in the top three of the Premier League this season and I will continue to try to do my best to help the team."
