'Get this man a UFC contract' - Man United and Spurs fans worried for Foyth after Pogba clash

Tottenham and Manchester United supporters have been left concerned after Juan Foyth's clash with Paul Pogba in the Europa League final.

Foyth, who is on a season-long loan deal at Villarreal from Spurs, slipped over and collided with Pogba - leaving his face with plenty of blood over it.

It was just minutes into the La Liga club's huge clash with Man United, where the Argentine looked as if he would have to come off due to strict concussion rules that now exist in football.

However, Foyth played on, on the right side of a Villarreal back four, where he had the task of marking Marcus Rashford.

Understandably, Spurs and United fans were left a bit worried about the defender's state following what looked like a hefty collision with Pogba.

He played the rest of the game with a bandage over his head to try and prevent the bleeding.

Foyth has been very impressive for the Spanish side this season, showing his talent and establishing himself as a staple in Unai Emery's side.

Emery spoke recently about how he wants the Spurs star to stay at the club next season, perhaps on a permanent basis.

“If I would keep him? The truth is that it is something that we must wait, but if it were up to me, yes, I would keep him with us," the former Arsenal boss said.

The 23-year-old featured 28 times for Villarreal in all competitions throughout the 2020/21 season.

But prior to the move to Spain, Foyth managed just 16 Premier League appearances since his arrival in north London back in 2017.

Under Emery at Estadio de la Ceramica, the Argentine has played as a holding midfielder, as well as a right-back - where he has predominantly been played.
