'Get ready for this, Pep' - Nottingham Forest fans react to potential Manchester City tie

Nottingham Forest could play Manchester City in the FA Cup fifth round if they overcome Swansea in the next phase of the competition.

Forest landed the draw which was made on Monday night, offering a potentially tantalising prize to Chris Hughton's Reds if they can beat Steve Cooper's side.

Reds fans are now eager for their players do the job to book themselves the clash with Pep Guardiola's array of superstars who must also overcome League Two Cheltenham in the fourth round in order to set up the meeting between the sides.

We took to Twitter to see what Forest fans had to say after the plum draw was announced.

One fan, Paul Walford,  Tweeted 'get ready for this, Pep' which was accompanied by a picture of Hughton with the word 'masterclass' written underneath.

Tweatman wrote: "The FA cup is as good as ours."

Riley NFFC added: "Please don’t bottle it against Swansea."

Louis Hodgkinson Tweeted: "Motivation for the players to win."

And Roberto joked: "Why do we want to win against Swansea. City will stick 8 past us."

And David Simpson simply declared: "Announce Quarter-Finals."

Forest's game against Swansea will take place on January 23 with dates for the fifth round tie yet to be confirmed although it is widely expected to be in early February.
