Gladiators - Wolf
Wolf - real name Michael Van Wijk - is to join the show as full-time team manager after appearing in a one-off special, Gladiators - The Legends Return. Mostly based in New Zealand, he also runs an indoor kids' play centre called Chipmunks Playground and Cafe. He said: 'I was blown away by the buzz I felt competing in the Gladiators arena again. It was like I’d never been away. The audience was phenomenal and clearly wanted more of the Wolfman. And now I'm back as manager, and I'm in charge!' Photograph: Sky
Gladiators - presenters
New co-host Caroline Flack - who replaces Kirsty Gallagher - is pictured with Ian Wright and team manager Wolf. Flack said: 'I'm so excited to be involved in the new series of Gladiators. The show has captured the public's attention all over again with a whole host of new fans, amazing athletes and a healthy dose of lycra. It's great to be able to play a part in something that's struck a chord with so many people over the years. I can't wait to get stuck in' Photograph: Sky
Gladiators - John Coyle
Veteran boxing referee John Coyle is set to take over from original ref John Anderson. Coyle said: 'It’s an honour to be asked to officiate in the Gladiators arena. It will be tough, and I’m sure the likes of Wolf and Oblivion will try and give me the runaround, but I’m up to the job. If I can handle Tyson, Calzaghe, Bruno and Eubank, I can handle Wolf and Oblivion. I won’t tolerate any funny business' Photograph: Sky
