'Get Pochettino in' - Man United fans turn on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after Burnley loss

Manchester United fell to a dismal 2-0 defeat at home to Burnley on Wednesday night that left them six points adrift in the race for a top four place this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side again failed to capitalise on their opponents dropping points, following Chelsea's draw against Arsenal on Tuesday night.

And the Manchester United manager is under increasing pressure following a spell of disappointing results at Old Trafford.

United have been struggling with injuries of late, with Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay facing lengthy spells on the sidelines, and they are now joined by Marcus Rashford, who is set to miss a number of weeks with a double stress-fracture in his back.

But United have now won just two of their last seven in all competitions, with defeats against Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool in that spell.

Fans are beginning to get restless at the team's lack of improvement, with a stalled bid for Sporting midfielder Bruno Fernandes also adding to the strain.

The tide seems to have shifted among the fans in favour of Solskjaer being replaced as manager, with a number of options available.

However, one man who looks to be favourite is former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino is favourite among the bookmakers to become the next Manchester United manager, with Massimiliano Allegri trailing him in second, while the likes of Brendan Rodgers, Laurent Blanc and Michael Carrick are all further back in the field.

, when discussing his next move in management.

At a launch event for La Liga TV in London, Pochettino was asked about his future and where he could possibly manage in the future.

"England and Spain are the two best leagues in the world," Pochettino told reporters.
