Get paid £500 to watch horror films and eat snacks this Halloween

Love a scary movie? Then this could be your perfect job.

The role of chief fear officer will involve gathering in front of the telly to watch horror movies over Halloween. The chosen candidate must then review the fright-filled flicks, reporting back on overall fear-factor, entertainment value and watchability.

The job is being advertised by vegan brand The Fry Family Food Co. And as well as a £500 payment, the winner will also be provided with a Netflix voucher and an ample supply of Fry’s plant-based Popcorn Chick’n to snack on while watching.

Nicola Yates, head of marketing, said: “Everyone loves a spooky film at Halloween, so we are thrilled to announce our search for the UK’s first CFO. We are looking for the ultimate horror movie fan, who loves nothing more than jumping out of their seat and shrieking in fearful delight."

To apply for the position, visit fryfamilyfood.com/uk/halloween-competition/ before Friday. And explain in 100 words or less why you think you would be perfect for the role.
