'Get out of our club now' - Arsenal fans rage after Granit Xhaka tells supporters to f*** off

Granit Xhaka could find himself in hot water after appearing to swear at Arsenal supporters after he was substituted against Crystal Palace.

The Gunners club captain was taken off in the second half with the game poised at 2-2 and Unai Emery looking to freshen up his side with the introduction of Bukayo Saka.

But as the Swiss international walked off the field, home fans cheered and urged him to hurry which appeared to anger the midfielder and he was clearly seen throwing his hands up in the air and cupping his ear as the boos grew louder.

The 27-year-old then ignored Unai Emery's handshake and walked straight down the tunnel while seemingly mouthing the words f*** off numerous times.

Xhaka has divided the opinion of Arsenal supporters since his arrival from Borussia Monchengladbach, with his erratic form criticised on numerous occasions.

His appointment as club captain by Emery in September was not a universally popular one, and it appears his antics against Crystal Palace is the final straw for some supporters on social media.

One wrote: 'Get Xhaka OUT!!!! Not good enough', and another posted: 'Xhaka needs to get out of Arsenal, for his own reputation as much as for the club.'
