'Get it over and done with' Leeds United fans disappointed by Carabao Cup draw with Stoke City

Leeds United have been rewarded with a home clash with Stoke City in the second round of the Carabao Cup, after avoiding a potential banana skin in Salford City.

Marcelo Bielsa's side found a difficult test against the League Two outfit but started to find comfort shortly before the interval as Eddie Nketiah marked his debut by opening the scoring.

The second half was much more comfortable for Leeds, with Gaetano Berardi and Mateusz Klich adding further gloss to the scoreline.

With the second round seeing 13 Premier League sides enter the competition, Leeds fans would have been hoping for a big game and were left under whelmed by the hand they were dealt.

Instead of facing off against a top-flight club, Leeds will instead face a familiar foe in the form of Stoke City in the second round, which will be played later this month.
