'Get in the f****** bin': people fuming over racist leaflets posted at bus stops

Fazakerley residents were left appalled after waking up to see leaflets packed with racist rhetoric and white supremacist slogans in their community.

One twitter user alerted the police to the leaflets, posting a picture and the text: "S*** that ain’t okay; sticking up this garbage in the bus stops by my house, get in the f****** BIN."

Among those angered on hearing about the leaflets, which were posted at several locations in the area, was Fazakerley councillor Paul Brant.

He said: "I unequivocally condemn any kind of sectarian leaflets. We've a proud tradition of cross-community cohesion in Fazakerley.

"All the different communities get on well together and that's part of what makes Fazakerley such a great place to live."

Wirral Council is now in No Overall Control: What does that mean, and what happens now?

He added: "You only need to go to the Fazakerley hospital to see the way everybody pulls together to have a better city. These kinds of people have no place in this city and I'm confident the residents of Fazakerley will give them the short shrift they deserve.

"The people who have posted these leaflets have no part in a modern Britain, their view of the world is outdated and unwanted."

The councillor said he would be speaking with neighbourhood police and PCSOs in response to the appearance of the leaflets, which have previously been posted in Merseyside in 2015 and 2018 .

Merseyside Police said: "We are aware of a social media post which suggests that potentially offensive leaflets were seen in the Fazakerley area.

"Officers are aware and enquiries have begun to assess if a criminal offence has taken place."

The Creativity Movement, the group behind the leaflets argue that the production and distribution of their materials is completely legal, adding: "It is good to see people spreading the good word of racial loyalty."

The leaflet identifies "mortal racial enemies" of white people, referring to "Jews, n****** and the mud races."

Anyone with information, or who spots any more leaflets, should contact @MerPolCC directly to enable the matter to be fully investigated.
