'Get him out' - Arsenal fans stunned by club captain Laurent Koscielny's transfer decision

Arsenal's summer of turbulence continues as club captain Laurent Koscielny has refused to travel with the squad for the pre-season tour in the United States.

The experienced defender is eyeing an exit from the Emirates Stadium this summer and wants the Gunners to allow him to leave on a free, with a number of clubs in France keen on his services.

33-year-old Koscielny, who joined Arsenal in 2010 from Lorient, has made over 250 appearances for the Gunners and has established himself as a fan favourite.

But his decision has been slammed by the club.,

In a statement, Arsenal said: "We are very disappointed by Laurent’s actions, which are against our clear instructions.

"We hope to resolve this matter and will not be providing any further comment at this time."

And the supporters have reacted in kind too.

His stunning decision has been met with uproar from unhappy supporters as they cannot believe the action the player has taken and have debated about what the club should do next.

While some want him to be sold, others believe Arsenal's public statement is not a wise move and is an indication of the struggles going on behind the scenes.
