Those wishing to keep healthy and stay away from NCDs (noncommunicable diseases) are invited to join the "Fit In 60 Days By Pfizer Year 2" project, and they will have a chance to win prizes worth more than 100,000 baht.
Held for the second year by Pfizer (Thailand), one of the world's premier biopharmaceutical companies, the campaign is aimed at encouraging people to change their behaviours and lifestyle so as to prevent and reduce the risk of NCDs, which claim more than 320,000 lives in Thailand every year.
The project is open to Thai nationals aged between 25 and 55 years, and they are required to submit a two-minute self-introduction video clip with the reason they want to be healthy to fitin60daysbypfizer.com.
During the 60 days, the 60 successful candidates will participate in three workshops held in conjunction with Startup Fitness to learn more about NCDs, behaviour change, guidance for well-being, nutrition and eating habits, healthy sleep and proper exercise.
The workshops will be conducted by renowned personal trainer Sathik Thanatak, aka Coach Paeng; Assoc Prof Dr Preeya Leelahagul, an expert in nutritional biochemistry from Ramathibodi Hospital; and Dr Niratchada Sap-anan, a neurologist from Bangkok Hospital.
Apart from the campaign activities, 10 video episodes will be broadcast through social media platforms, with education and knowledge shared by the Startup Fitness team. The 60 participants will not only learn how to maintain a right balance for good health and well-being but have a chance to win prizes as a token of appreciation to their strong will and effort in accomplishing their commitment to healthy behaviour.
Applications should be submitted by Sunday, with successful candidates announced via facebook.co/eztofit on Sept 20.
