Holly Willoughby appeared to forget the social distancing rules on a recent episode of This Morning, in which she rushed across the studio to stand next to her co-host Phillip Schofield.
The pair have been presenting the ITV show while maintaining a two-metre distance from each other for weeks.
However, during a science experiment segment on Wednesday (6 May), Willoughby seemed to forget the guidelines.
The mishap occurred when Schofield began to struggle with instructions, and Willoughby ran over to help him, leading Schofield to shout: “No, don’t get so close, get back! Get back in your own area!”
Willoughby hastily returned to her side of the studio, saying: “Two metres, two metres. I’m genuinely sorry.”
This Morning recently made headlines for another blunder, which saw MasterChef’s John Torode accidentally set a tea towel on fire during a live cooking segment.
