The Ukraine-Russia war has continued to escalate, with Western officials expressing "serious concerns" over Russia using chemical weapons in Ukraine.
It comes as the UK is preparing to send anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine after the country accused Russia of a litany of attacks on its civilians - including the bombing of a maternity hospital that killed three people.
Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin has reportedly fired eight top generals as the invasion of Ukraine proved far more difficult than expected. But the leader insists Russia would emerge stronger and more independent after overcoming the difficulties caused by what he described as the West's illegitimate sanctions.
In the UK, Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich has been added to the UK's sanctions list, putting the sale of the football club in jeopardy. Under the new restrictions, the oligarch can't even send cleaners into his £90m mansion on ‘billionaires’ row’ in London.
