Gerwyn Price was once again subjected to abuse as he powered his way into the quarter-finals of the PDC World Darts Championship on Wednesday night.
Sky Sports were forced to mute their coverage of Price's match against Kim Huybrechts amid X-rated abuse from the crowd earlier this week, while the same chants were heard as he outclassed Dirk van Duijvenbode 4-1 in the last 16 last night.
The volatile Alexandra Palace crowd branded pantomime villain Price a "sheep sh***ing b******", also singing: "You know what you are, you know what you are, you’re a sheep sh***er you know what you are!"
The abuse has angered some TV viewers, who have labelled the chants racist.
Former Wales rugby player Andy Powell said the abuse was "definitely racist" and called on the PDC to deal with those targeting Price.
Dragons chief David Buttress also criticised Sky Sports for failing to mute all of the abuse with children watching at home.
He added: "Welcome back to 1990. I went to university and was asked did we have electricity at home, did we really s**g sheep bla bla. I have a thick skin, but I’m not having another generation having to put up with that crap. Not in a world, where standards now rightly say this is not ok."
The defending world champion has become a divisive figure during his astonishing rise to the top of the sport over the past few years.
He clashed with abusive supporters at the World Grand Prix in October, branding them pathetic while stood on stage during a live TV interview.
Price will face Michael Smith in the quarter-finals after his stunning victory over Welshman Jonny Clayton in one of all-time great PDC World Championship matches.
Smith won the tenth leg of the deciding set to seal a phenomenal 4-3 victory.
