Gerry O'Connor steps down as joint manager of Clare hurlers

Gerry O'Connor has reportedly stepped down as joint manager of the Clare senior hurling team.

O'Connor has coached the county alongside Donal Moloney for the past three years, but the Clare Echo reports he will not be returning for a fourth.

O'Connor and Moloney achieved incredible success at U21 and minor level with the county, winning three back to back All-Ireland and Munster U21 titles between 2012-2014.

They also tasted provincial glory in 2010 and 2011 at minor level, but have failed to win silverware with the seniors.
