Steven Gerrard says Liverpool have to 'fix the roof while the sun is shining', the exact same phrase he used after winning the league with Rangers in 2021.
The Anfield club are just off the back of securing the English Premier League title.
Recently speaking about the success of his old team, Gerrard told TNT Sports: "You've got to fix the roof while the sun is shining.

"We never had a big summer window last year because we already had a squad ready to challenge.
"But I think if you want to go to the next step, it's important to keep improving and pushing.
"Frimpong's done and there's other rumours circling about really talented players, so it looks like Liverpool are going to be the team to catch.
"I've got every confidence they're going to be stronger next year."
Gerrard's initial message was one he sent out after securing the Scottish Premiership title with Rangers in 2021.
"It's about what's next," he told Sky Sports at the time.
"This is a club where you can't stand still. This has to be a launch pad.
"We need to fix the roof while the sun is shining and everyone's happy. It's my job now to find the tweaks and malfunctions in the group that we need to iron out."
Gerrard ultimately left Rangers for Aston Villa after stopping Celtic's 10-in-a-row bid.
He then moved out to Saudi Arabia with Al-Ettifaq and is now without a club.
