Germany: Arson attack on planned refugee shelter

The attack is believed to have been carried out by an anti-migrant extremist (Twitter/ZDFerfurt)

Three Blocks of flats planned to be used as shelter for refugee's and asylum seekers were intentionally set alight on Monday in Rockensussra, Northern Germany.

Authorities declared that there had been no techical or electrical faults present at the time of the blaze, and confirmed that it had been set on fire.The roof's of the building have been badly damaged and the estimate cost for  repairing the damage, issued by the local media, is around 500,000 euros (or £363,000).
