German politics: CSU campaigning for votes in Bavaria

Politicians in the German state of Bavaria are trying to win over voters ahead of elections in October.

The Christian Social Union CSU party, which is in a coalition with Merkel's Christian Democrats, has moved further to the right in an attempt to keep their traditional stronghold.

But polls suggest that could be against the public mood.
