
Until tomorrow, SO Sofitel Bangkok hosts guest chef Michael Dyllong of one Michelin-starred Palmgarden in Dortmund, Germany, in its Park Society restaurant.

Dyllong's talents were recognised early on in his career. While still in his mid-20s, he was awarded the prize for Vice World Champion of Young Chefs 2011. In the same year, he took a head chef position at Palmgarden restaurant, which is located at Casino Hohensyburg in his hometown of Dortmund. The restaurant received a Michelin star in 2013 and shortly after a stellar 16 points from Gault Millau. Dyllong was also named Gault Millau Young Talent of 2014. During his visit at SO Sofitel Bangkok, the young German chef will personally serve up an aesthetically appealing and mouth-watering 6-course degustation menu with wine pairing.
Among featured dishes are fjord trout with sorrel, kohlrabi and passion fruit; scallop with asparagus, lemon and watercress; cod with carrot, onion and spinach; Black Angus beef with cabbage, cauliflower and potato; and "Kiss from the Rose", his signature creation prepared with beetroot, chard, dashi and clear yoghurt.
