German government on track to find solution to diesel issue: source

BERLIN (Reuters) - The German government is on track to find a solution for tackling pollution from diesel vehicles but there is no agreement yet, a government source told Reuters following a meeting of ministers on the issue at the chancellery in Berlin on Friday.

Sources familiar with the matter told Reuters earlier that the government and carmakers were moving closer to a deal.
