German Doner Kebab has announced plans to open another Edinburgh restaurant – this time in Waverley Mall.
Those at the chain say their first outlet in the city, on Edinburgh's Lothian Road, has enjoyed "unparalleled success" since opening late last year.
The new restaurant will lead to the creation of 25 new jobs. Further details are set to be announced ahead of its opening in the coming months, around April or May time.
Daniel Bunce, UK and Europe managing director, said: "We are very proud to grow the German Doner Kebab brand across Edinburgh, having taken the city to our hearts since day one.
"The iconic Waverley Mall has long been in our sights for a restaurant and when the opportunity presented itself, we jumped at the opportunity.
"The success of our Lothian Road restaurant has blown us away and it is our hope that we can replicate that once we open our doors to our second Edinburgh site."
The chain prides itself on their signature sauces, prime cuts of meat and fresh salads, and say the offer up a healthier, gourmet kebab option.

German Doner Kebab say they are listed as "one of the country's fastest growing restaurant chains" with 40 outlets opening up in the last two years. In addition to their UK stores they also have eateries in Sweden, Dubai, Abu-Dhabi, Oman and Bahrain. Further growth has been announced with franchises signed in Canada's Toronto, Ontario and British Columbia and Manhattan and New Jersey in the USA.
