First results of a study on antibodies against COVID-19 among blood donors has shown a low immunity and suggests most Germans have not had contact with the virus, the head of the Robert Koch Institute for public health, Lothar Wieler said on Monday.

Of around 12,000 blood samples tested, antibodies were found in only 1.3 percent, Lothar Wieler told a news conference.
