Germain Ifedi working on technique, ‘fixing small things’

The Seattle Seahawks offensive line has been getting quite a bit of attention this offseason. In fact, left tackle Duane Brown believes the line has a chance to become the best in the league.

Germain Ifedi seconds Brown’s beliefs, but knows there is still work to be done. Ifedi discussed some of the line’s points of emphasis during his minicamp press conference.

“Well, just communication, fixing small things,” Ifedi said last Tuesday. “We know it’s not full speed football so just not letting anything go awry. Okay, just because this got stopped because we’re going at a certain speed doesn’t mean your technique has to lax. Always work on your technique, always working with your teammates, fine, we can go a little faster.”

Ifedi and the rest of the Seahawks are now on summer break until training camp starts at the end of July. While the team is not allowed to host anything officially football-related, players can work out amongst themselves.

“We work with each other, work with each other and help each other get better and not out here going through the motions,” Ifedi continued. “There are ways to get better without beating each other up all the time.”

Training camp kicks off July 25. For information on how to score your tickets to attend, click here.
