Gerardo Parra had almost everyone at Nationals Park doing the ‘Baby Shark’ before at-bat

I don’t have kids so I don’t really know what “Baby Shark” is, though I do know the song pops up on things from time to time and then I spend the next four to five hours singing the catchy/horrible song, much to my dismay.

And, well, it just happened again. Thanks a lot, baseball.

Nationals right fielder Gerardo Parra has the song as his walkup song and the thing was rocking when he pinch hit in the seventh inning of his team’s rout of the Rockies on Tuesday night.

His teammates and most of the fans remaining in the stadium happily did the “Baby Shark” thing and then Parra hit a two-run single.
