Gerard Pique has never been shy when it comes to stoking the fire with regards Barcelona's great rivalry with Real Madrid .
Certainly, given Barcelona's back-to-back wins at the Santiago Bernabeu at the beginning of the month, the ex-Manchester United defender wasn't going to let the opportunity go to waste on Thursday night.
Pique, 32, appeared on Spanish TV show La Resistencia - filmed in Madrid - to answer questions from presenter David Broncano, after a Twitter exchange between the pair.
And during their discussion the subject turned to the World Cup winner's sex life with partner Shakira.
Asked by Broncano how many times he has had sex in the last month, Pique laughed, before responding: "Do those times at the Bernabeu count?"
Unsurprisingly, that led to laughter and gasps from the crowd.
Barca's 3-0 win in the Copa del Rey and 1-0 victory in La Liga four days later effectively ended Madrid's hopes of domestic silverware.
The loss to Ajax in the Champions League three days after the latter dumped them out of Europe and cost Santiago Solari his job.
Speaking on the Movistar+ show, the former Spain defender - who has won seven La Liga titles and three Champions League crowns since moving to Camp Nou in 2008 - was also asked how much money he is worth.
This time, he took a dig at local rivals Espanyol, ahead of this weekend's Catalan derby.
"I have more money than the budget of Espanyol this year," declared Pique.
"Nope, not just €57 million. It's plenty more than that."
