Gerard Deulofeu offers Watford chance to bounce back vs Everton

A bit of added spice now accompanies this fixture, following Marco Silva’s 2018 defection to Merseyside.

And the Everton boss may be a little wary of facing his old team, knowing Watford can be captivating on the right day.

The right day, however, certainly didn’t come last week.

The Hornets never got started at home to Brighton — that’s what makes this match so unpredictable — so Javi Gracia will be demanding a reaction.

Don’t get me wrong, Everton should win with their superior players. They’ve spent lots of money to sign some top talent.

But if someone like Gerard Deulofeu, no doubt fired up on his return to Goodison Park, gets enough of the ball, the impulsive Spaniard is well capable of upsetting the apple cart.
