Scots actor Gerard Butler was oblivious to Ryan Reynold's new movie blockbuster Free Guy which is huge box office hit.
Butler, 51, from Paisley was asked about the movie in a recent interview as it has similarities to his 2009 box office bomb 'Gamer' but Gerard was oblivious, declaring that he doesn't watch Ryan Reynolds films.
The two Hollywood actors films have similarities due to them both taking place within the world of a video game.
During an interview with Unilad for his new movie 'Copshop' he said: “I actually don’t know what ‘Free Guy’ is,”
His co-star Alexis Louder explained that this was Ryan Reynolds newest flick, and the Scot replied: “Oh s**t, is it?,” Gerard continued. “I don’t watch Ryan Reynolds movies.”

Ryan had the last laugh in this scenario as he wrote on Instagram: “Can you believe Gerard Butler doesn’t know what Free Guy is?”, alongside a screenshot of a headline about Gerard's diss.
To change the narrative, Ryan directed focus on his new partnership with the American Civil Liberties Union and the NAACP’s Legal Defence Fund.
He added links for fans to donate to these causes stating that he and wife Blake Lively will match all contributions.
