Celtic target Georgios Giakoumakis is ready to make an imminent decision on his future.
Record Sport exclusively revealed on Tuesday the VVV-Venlo forward had held talks over a potential transfer to the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou is understood to have personally called the 26-year-old to outline his vision for him.
It's believed a fee in the region of £2.5million will convince the Dutch side to sell.
Giakoumakis revealed he is considering a number of options and expects to make a call "really soon".
"I don't know the future but there is a little bit of pressure now," he told VVV's official YouTube channel.
"I have some proposals in my head that I have to think, I have to take a decision and I think this will end up really soon.
"Of course, we are in the last days of the transfer window, I have to decide.
"I have to decide and choose one option which I have in my hands."
Giakoumakis scored 26 goals in 30 appearances last season despite VVV plunging into relegation from the Eredivisie.
It's been widely accepted he would move on this summer but the Greek forward is adamant he will always be a fan of the club.
He added: "First of all, there are some markets that are open after the end of August, two or three markets that I'm really interested in.
"But I hope, for the good of the team, and, of course, for my own good that I will not be here.
"I will watch VVV from wherever I am, this team will always be in my heart, I will always be a fan.
"I wish I have a chance to come in the future and watch some games."
Earlier on Tuesday, Postecoglou revealed he is "very confident" he will make further additions to his squad before the transfer deadline.
He's currently preparing his side for a Europa League play-off round first leg against AZ Alkmaar on Wednesday night.
