Prediction
After scoring nine points in the first half at Arkansas, the Gamecocks had a 21 point second half, but had no answers for Razorbacks star quarterback K.J. Jefferson
Jefferson completed 18 of 21 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown with 67 yards on 19 carries and a score on the ground.
Arkansas running back Raheim Sanders added 156 yards on 24 carries and two touchdowns.
The Razorbacks finished with 295 yards on the ground.
Gamecocks quarterback Spencer Rattler ended up with 376 yards passing with a score and an interception, but South Carolina was playing catchup for the most of the game after being down 21-9 at halftime.
The lack of rush defense shown versus Arkansas doesn’t look good for the Gamecocks as they face Georgia’s stout offensive line.
Georgia leads the SEC in total offense through two games and quarterback Stetson Bennett has looked like one of the best signal callers in the nation.
With Bennett at the helm of a loaded Dawgs offense – and a defense that has allowed only three points thus far – look for the Bulldogs to leave Columbia with their first SEC win of the season.
