I don’t care how many points we were favored by, a win over the No. 7 ranked team in the country is pretty darn good by any margin.
And when it’s over Notre Dame, it’s just that much more special.
Speaking of special, how about that crowd?
It was something like we have never seen before in Athens. The place was simply outstanding, and it was proven by seven false start penalties on Notre Dame, plus two wasted timeouts in the second half that Brian Kelly wishes he had back.
That’s a win we will remember for a long, long time, regardless of how the rest of this season plays out.
