Georgia Toffolo has car window smashed and handbag stolen on New Year’s Eve

Georgia Toffolo suffered a disastrous New Year's Eve as her car was broken into and her handbag got stolen.

The I'm A Celebrity star took to Instagram to share footage of the broken glass, revealing someone had thrown a brick through the car's window.

She'd left her handbag inside, and got back to find it had been swiped.

However, Toff, 25, tried to look on the bright side as she pointed out the thief had left behind her favourite blusher.

She told fans: "Happy New Year everyone. Someone just threw a brick through my car window and stole my handbag.

"But on the bright side he left a tampon and my favourite blusher. So trying to look on the bright side of things. Not great."

She refused to let the drama ruin her evening and was later seen partying at a restaurant with her family.

Toff shared clips showing her sat at a table seeing in the New year with her grandparents.

The former Made in Chelsea star has had a tumultuous few weeks after being detained in the Maldives over claims her passport had been damaged.

Toff claimed she'd been held by immigrations officers for hours because a page in the document was missing - meaning it could be deemed invalid.

She was later released and allowed to continue with her Christmas break in the sunshine.

Afterwards, she told The Sun : "It was terrifying.

“I was on my own, they took me to one side and said they wouldn’t let me in because a page from my passport was ripped.

“The next thing I knew I was taken away from the airport to a stack of three shipping containers where they detain people – and told me I would be there for four days.

“It was so frightening.

"They made me book the next return flight which cost me a fortune, and watched as I did it, but then said that they wouldn’t even let me go and get on it until I got replacement documents...

"It was very intimidating, male dominated and scary – I had no idea what to do. I still feel sick at the thought of it all."
