The Dawgs, who are looking to repeat as national champs, play TCU, which downed Michigan earlier in the Fiesta Bowl, for the national championship on Jan. 9 at SoFi Stadium.
The Dawgs trailed 38-24 and 41-35 when they got the ball with a few minutes left in the fourth quarter.
Stetson Bennett led a masterful drive of 72 yards over five plays. It ate up 1:49 and concluded with Bennett finding Adonai Mitchell for a 10-yard touchdown.
