What’s Going To Happen
Get ready for a run game between two teams looking to stay in the mix for the Sun Belt East title.
The Georgia State offense has been terrific lately with a strong ground game and enough pop to get past Arkansas State last week in a bit of a shocker. However, the Panthers can’t do much of anything to stop the run, and Coastal Carolina has the offense to take advantage of a leaky D that’s allowed 30 or more points to everyone so far.
The Chanticleers are great at controlling the clock and the tempo, the defense as been the best in the conference, even with a rough run against Appalachian State, and ground game is good enough to match Georgia State’s production.
Expect just enough CCU plays in the backfield to stall the Panthers in the second half, and expect better production against the run. Coastal Carolina can stop the run. Georgia State can’t.
