After announcing his retirement from the NFL in Athens a few days ago, Georgia Bulldog Malcolm Mitchell is turning the page in his career. Mitchell won a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots, where his clutch fourth quarter performance helped the Patriots comeback against the Atlanta Falcons. But my favorite moment of the Mitchell’s career has to be this:
This play still gives Georgia fans goosebumps. Mitchell’s retirement made quite a few people remember their fond memories of Mitchell. Mitchell has a bright future for himself off the field. He took advantage of the education he got at the University of Georgia. Mitchell ultimately had to retire because he has had 10 separate knee surgeries.
Mitchell is a damn good Dawg and will forever have the respect of Bulldog Nation.
