Ya Gigauri, 29, from Abkhazia at her home in a camp for internally displaced people (IDP) housed in a former government ministry building in the capital city of Tbilisi, Georgia. Her husband was one of only five survivors in his battalion and now has shellshock which manifests itself in random, aggressive behaviour. Ya has to care for two children from his previous marriage as well as her own two children, all on under £30 a month.Photograph: Jane Mingay/Jane MingayWomen walk at an IDP camp housed in a former hospital in the capital city of Tbilisi.
