We’re taking a look at Georgia’s future non-conference foes. Every future scheduling beyond this upcoming season is subject to change. Kirby Smart and the Dawgs have Murray St. (9/7), Arkansas St. (9/14), Notre Dame (9/21), and @ Georgia Tech (11/30) set for the upcoming 2019 season. All the hype in Athens is surrounding the Notre Dame game. This schedule is all I ask for as a fan: one quality non-conference opponent in addition to Georgia Tech.
Speaking of Georgia Tech, Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate is scheduled to continue until 2037. In addition to it, Georgia has the following games slated for the future:
In 2020, Georgia opens with Virginia in Atlanta, then plays Louisiana Monroe, and East Tennessee in Athens.
In 2021, Georgia is slated to play San Jose St. and UAB in Athens.
In 2022, Oregon and Kent St are on the docket. Later in 2023 the Dawgs have a match-up scheduled with Indiana St.
In 2024, UGA renews its rivalry with Clemson in Atlanta. Both programs should still be the powerhouses they are now. The next two years, in 2025 & 2026, Georgia has a home and away with UCLA.
A home and away with Texas highlights another elite non-conference foe for the Bulldogs in the 2028 and 2029 seasons. Additionally, in 2029, Georgia plays at Clemson. That season is already shaping up to be one of the more difficult schedules the Dawgs have faced in recent seasons.
Beyond that nothing further is scheduled, aside from the rivalry with Georgia Tech.
