Georgia player accidentally levels Kirby Smart during celebration

Down 7-0 in the SEC championship game against LSU, the Georgia Bulldogs thought they had recovered a fumble in dangerous territory after running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire lost the ball as he was going to the ground. Georgia’s Lewis Cine grabbed the ball and ran to his sideline to celebrate, where head coach Kirby Smart leapt into the air to bump into Cine in celebration.

Cine, who is one of Georgia’s smaller players at 185 pounds, crashed into Smart and appeared to send his coach crashing to the ground just as the CBS feed cut to a different shot.

Unfortunately for Georgia, the fumble was reviewed and Edwards-Helaire was ruled to be down before the ball came out. Fans watching the game couldn’t believe that CBS didn’t show a replay of the collision.
