Georgia May Foote announces engagement to musician boyfriend with beaming snap

Georgia May Foote is engaged after her partner Kris Evans popped the question on holiday.

Taking to Instagram to share a jubilant snap taken just after musician Kris got down on one knee, Georgia posted: " 30/12/2021. Mrs Evans to be," wrote Georgia.

"Of course I am still crying.

"@krisevansmusic I love you beyond words and I am honoured you have chosen me," she gushed.

The star revealed she was on cloud nine as she posed beside her husband-to-be.

Fans of Georgia rushed to the comments section to compliment the star on her engagement.

"Congratulations To you both," one person wrote.

Another added: "OMFFFGGGGGGGG IM SCREAMING."

The incredible news comes after Georgia broke up with her previous boyfriend George Alsford.

She has gone from strength-to-strength since their break up, and appears happier than ever.

Georgia, who previously played Katy Armstrong on Corrie, previously revealed it was a difficult time for her when she split from George.

The actress launched into an epic Twitter rant when she thought her ex-boyfriend was throwing shade at her in a cryptic tweet following their split.

Georgia star lashed out at Sean Ward after he shared a tweet saying: "karma is a patient b****."

Sean, who played murdered thug Callum Logan in the ITV1 soap, posted the tweet after it was revealed the Bury actress had split from George.

Georgia and Our Girl actor Sean, from Manchester, broke up in 2015 after her time on Strictly Come Dancing. She then went on to date her professional dance partner Giovanni Pernice.

Georgia tweeted: "Karma aint a b**** to people who do nothing wrong. Guilt makes people do/say funny things doesn't it. i always have to keep my mouth shut and i'm the one who gets the s*** say what u want cz i really dont care what u all think. I know everything about MY life."

She then wrote: "Being a woman is seriously s***. When will papers/magazine stop slandering us. Making us look like certain types of people when they have no idea about what happens in our lives. Sick to death of being a good person and letting s*** go to save other peoples backs."

And Georgia added: "Leave me alone to live MY LIFE. And do my JOB."

After her split from model George, the soap star posted a reflective Instagram post saying: "I never thought my best memories would make me feel this way. Or that people could so easily delete and forget. But here's to making more. More that i will never forget."

Georgia, who was in Corrie for five years, and George dated for 18 months.
