The University of Georgia made the top eight for an elite class of 2021 offensive tackle: Amarius Mims. With his recruitment still open, another school could emerge in the battle for his services. At 6’7″ and 300 lbs he has the build teams covet in an offensive lineman.
It’s apparent based on his top eight, Mims prefers to stay in the south. With six SEC teams and two ACC schools, Mims decision could hinge what happens in the 2019 season.
Mims is a four-star tackle and is rated as the number two prospect in Georgia for the class of 2020. He’s ranked 16th nationally by Rivals. His ranking will change over the course of the next couple seasons, but his status as an elite tackleshould remain unchanged. Mims is from Cochran, Georgia and will be a key target for Kirby Smart and Sam Pittman. Georgia will look to keep the best prospects from The Peach State.
